Crossing the finish line FIRST is none other than SML alumni, class of 2011, Millen Trujillo!! Millen made his season debut with a victory running for UCLA! This family has deep St. Mark's roots with Millen's sister, Maya, now a senior at St. Lucy's and a 7th grader still at St. Mark's, Meghna. Good luck on a winning season Millen!

University of Chicago freshman, Brendan Brzycki (SML alumni 2010) is all moved in. Brett, Brendan's brother (and current SML student) & family also traveled to Illinois to wish him well. Your Lion family is so excited for your next adventure Brendan!

Applause! Applause! Sarah Kung, class of 2015 has recently been awarded the "Girls in STEM" scholarship by the National Association of Women in Construction. Only 3 scholarships were awarded. 2 to college students and Sarah was the only high school student! ROAR ON!

Is there a doctor in the house? Well, in the Gonzales house there are going to be 2! Jessica Gonzales, class of 2006 is married & in her 3rd year of med school at Western College of Medicine in Pomona. Chris Gonzales, class of 2008 is in his 2nd year of med school at UCSD. Well done Chris & Jessica! This is such great news!!

News on the Atilano Brothers! Dylan, class of 2014 is at La Serna, running varsity track & field, getting great grades AND his driver's license! David, class of 2010 is a senior at Claremont McKenna College majoring in biology. Over the summer, David studied in Granada, Spain and did a paid internship with Keck. He will be doing research in genetics. He also was chosen to be a CMC's "Euroscholar" and will be speaking to CMC alumni, faculty and CMC's president.

Joshua Poon, class of 2013 has been busy! The scoop on Joshua is after attending Whittier Christian for 2 years, he moved to Orange County School of the Arts for his junior & senior year. Joshua graduated 1 out of 95 Valedictorians. He was accepted to NYU and UCLA, and decided to become a BRUIN! Joshua, we are looking forward to more good news from you!

Another reason to celebrate! Brendan Brzycki, class of 2010 was accepted and is attending the University of Chicago. We are so proud of you, Brendan. Remember to dress warm!

Congratulations Nicholas Abuzalaf, class of 2009! Nicholas was accepted to Yale (Early acceptance, we might add.). He will be the class of 2021. Nicholas sent Ms. Clark an e-mail with the good news and in the e-mail attributes some of his success to the teachers & staff of SML! We are so proud of you Nicholas!
