We share this photo to show the importance of being hydrated before your ultrasound. Aside from that cute foot going toward the mouth, notice the nice black area in front of baby's face; this is amniotic fluid. We need a good amount of fluid in front of whatever we are trying to image in order to see clearly. When you follow our prep and are properly hydrated, we have a much better chance to get those crisp clear images. So make sure you spend a few days before your appointment properly hydrating yourself.
