Music on the Square fosters a space for courageous music-making and we would love to courageously make music with you! Gathering as a community of music lovers, we spark curiosity, expand creativity, and cultivate collaboration through one-on-one lessons, adult-learning classes, coached ensembles, and radical, breathtaking performances.

Science on the Square: Interactive Workshop
Join us Friday, June 2 at Music on the Square as the DePauw Science department hosts a hands-on science workshop for children and adults alike. Create electronic music with simple machines, learn about the chemistry of yeast, and experiment with making rocket ships. All of these festivities are in partnership with Greencastle's Frist Friday. Admission is FREE and the program will run from 5-7pm. Hope to see you there!

Magical Music
Magical Music is an immersive musical experience that creates a sense of wonder and curiosity in young children, encouraging them to explore how to make the notes on the page come alive! With an interactive performance by the Magical Music String Quartet, kids ages 6-10 can draw what they hear, listen to the magical story within the music, and dance to Debussy's Petite Suite: IV. Ballet! Magical snacks will be provided afterward. Families are welcome to join!
A Night In Brazil
Dr. May Phang's piano studio presents Noite no Brazil or a "Night in Brazil" on Thursday, April 27th at 7:30PM at Music on the Square(21 N Indiana St, Greencastle, IN 46135). Free admission for all. This program will feature a variety of Brazilian composers such as Chiquinha Gonzaga, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Almeida Prado and more. Refreshments (including Brazilian local snacks) will be served following the concert.
