April 6th 6-7 PM & 7-8 PM April 8th 2-3 PM & 3-4 PM Roles for men, women, teens, and children! We are in need of an amazing ensemble of actors and actresses who sing and dance (ages 8 years old and up) for The Santa Cruz Shoestring Players production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor® Dreamcoat Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Lyrics by Tim Rice You need attend only one of the audition dates for one of the hour blocks. Please plan to stay the full hour. WHERE? In the Dance Studio at CPAC (Community Performance & Art Center) 1250 West Continental Road, Green Valley, AZ Come prepared to sing 16-32 bars of music in the style of the show. Anaccompanist will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own pianist. Also, there will be a CD player, portable speaker (Bluetooth or aux cord) and a computer for USB files if you wish to use a pre-recorded accompaniment. ● Come prepared to do some choreography that you will learn as part of the audition. Dress in comfortable clothing you can move in. ● SPECIALSKILLS: Ifyouhaveanyinteresting,specialskills(juggling,dancing,whistling,guitar,etc.),pleasecomeprepared to show us what you can do! ● MEN: Ifyoucansingcalypso,countrywestern,oragoodimpressionofElvisPresley,pleasebeprepared to sing your audition piece in that style. See How They Run by Philip King A Farce in Three Acts This hilarious, door-slamming comedy runs: March 31-April 1, April 7-8 at 7:00 PM April 2 and 9 at 3PM Tickets: $20 in advance - $25 at door See How They Run is set in the idyllic village of Merton-cum-Middlewick, England during the 1940s. It's World War II, and the village inhabitants are preparing themselves for the imminent threat of Nazi invasion. Meanwhile, resident spinster, Miss Skillon, becomes convinced that her beloved vicar's actress wife is having an affair and attempts to expose her. Add an escaped German prisoner of war, a handsome actor, the visiting Bishop of Lax, a rotund locum priest and some meddling neighbors and hilarious confusion and mayhem result. The Shoestring Players are holding auditions for the summer production of Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat! If you are interested in auditioning the info is below. Actors will need to sing 16-32 measures of a song of their choosing. It can be A Capella, sing along with a CD you bring or sing a song from the show with our piano accompaniment. Actors will be taught a short, very basic choreography routine to perform. You will choose an hour time slot, the options are: April 6th 6pm or 7pm April 8th 2pm or 3pm. 1250 W Continental Rd. Hiroya Tsukamoto Cinematic Guitar Poetry
Tickets: $15/$20 in advance - all tickets $20 at door Eclectic, immersive and mesmerizing; a hypnotic blending of folk, jazz and world. Hiroya Tsukamoto creates evocative images through his music, taking listeners with him on scenic journeys of melody and rhythm. Tsukamoto is an internationally acclaimed guitarist and composer. Born and raised in Kyoto, Japan, he received a scholarship to Berklee College of Music. Since then, he has been performing internationally including appearances at Blue Note in New York and multiple concerts on Japanese National Television. Hiroya has released six albums to critical acclaim and has performed with Esperanza Spalding, Marta Gomez, Kendrick Scott (The Crusadors), Pete Kennedy (The Kennedys) and Dave Maxwell (Muddy Waters Band).
Manhattan Dolls - Music from the 1930s/40s

The Manhattan Dolls originated in New York City and are a swing-style female vocal trio with the sound of the Andrews Sisters. Started by a former USO Girl, The Dolls travel the world performing for military events, cruise ships, parades, jazz clubs, concert series, you name it! They have been featured on The Rachael Ray Show, BBC Radio London, Fox and Friends, The Tucson Morning Blend, Cincinnati Local 12 and more. They have had the pleasure of performing with famous bands including The Jive Aces in the UK, The Cotton Candies in France and The George Gee Orchestra and The Stan Rubin Orchestra in NYC.
