We were so thankful to be part of the "We love Gorham Day" this past Saturday. We had an amazing group of adults and high school age kids from Alabama help us move numerous loads of wood chips and gravel to refresh our backyard play space and get it ready for summer camps. Thanks to Gorham Sand & Gravel for the donation of gravel and Ira at Colonial tree for donating the huge load of wood chips. We are so grateful to be part of this wonderful community!

Summer Ceramics Class-last chance to sign up...1 spot left CLASS STARTS this WED June 14th This class is appropriate for beginning to intermediate level throwers. A different wheel technique will be demonstrated each class. Dates/Times- June 14, 21, 28, July 5, 12, 26th, and Aug. 2nd (Wednesday Evenings) 6:00pm -8:30pm 6 class times will be held over a 7 week period of time to allow for summer conflicts. You can attend any of the 6 weeks. The first five classes would be creating in clay. There will be one week without class (July 19th) to allow time for pieces to dry and be bisque fired. ANNOUNCEMENT: We are proud to announce the creation of a Pre-Kindergarten program at the Community Arts Center. After many discussion with parents, teachers and principals within the Gorham School district, we discovered that there is a need in the community for a Pre-K program. We have worked very hard over the past few months researching and designing this program. It is specifically for children that are age 5 by Oct 15th and eligible to go to kindergarten, but would greatly benefit socially, emotionally and academically if given another year to grow. We had an awesome turn out for our plant sale on Saturday! We raised $490 which will all go towards our backyard renovation project that includes a stage, rock climbing wall and new paintings easels. We still have a few plants left and others especially hosta that I can dig up and/or divide. I have rhubarbs, and herbs too. The large hostas are $10 small ones are $5. The rhubarb I can split as well. Also, if you are looking for something in particular let us know as we may have it, just need to be dug up🙂 Please let us know.
