Technical Director: Mark Rabin 798-9663 x. 5 The Wood Theater is a 30,000 square foot community facility that resulted from the dramatic rehabilitationof a vacant Woolworth Store on Glen Street in the heart of downtown Glens Falls. The facility includes:
• A 300-seat theater, which is fully ADA compliant, and includes state-of-the-art lightingand sound packages. Suited for theater, dance, music, film and presentations
• A 3,000 square foot rehearsal hall with natural light, changing rooms and separate lobby. This room is also available for receptions, meetings and workshops.
• Over 2,600 square feet of lobby space including a box office, concession area andample room for large receptions.

Due to a wedding, the Wood Theater box office will be closed this Saturday, May 13th. Normal Box Office hours resume Tuesday from 12pm to 5pm.
Seasons of Change
Following on the success of the Adirondack Ballet Theater’s three sold out performances of “The Nutcracker”, and it’s most recent sold out performance of “Beauty and the Beast”. The Dance Center of Queensbury, Official School of the Adirondack Ballet Theater, presents “Seasons of Change”. From our Music Box Ballerinas to our traditional Chorus Line finale, each moment of “Seasons of Change” promises an enjoyable experience for all ages. Let us dance in the springtime air, summer sun, falling leaves and cold winter nights. As the seasons of the year change each dancer grows in technique and knowledge. Please join us in a celebration of their achievements. This showcase of talent includes an array of dance technique by students of all ages, premiering award winning competition dances performed this past season.

The Charles R. Wood Theater is now seeking Administrative Interns! Interns will assist in day-to-day operations of the theater, gaining firsthand experience in Customer Service, Marketing, Communication, Office Administration and much more. Full and part-time opportunities are available beginning immediately. Internships may be eligible for college credit and/or stipends. Reality Dance Studio proudly presents, “Dancing In in the Spotlight” our 2017 recital. Reality Dance Studio’s students have been working hard all year on their dance technique which will be show cased in the styles of Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap and Acrobatics. In addition to these pieces, The Reality Elite Dane Company will be performing their award winning works from this year’s competitions. Come and support your dancer or just come to check out what all the buzz is about with the area’s newest dance studio and competitive dance company!
