It is a sometimes difficult path that we must all walk alone but when you are here we are walking the path together.

In order to live we will experience pain and pleasure. This is part of being human. But suffering and happiness are choices that we make. Can you ask yourself to live in the present. We may experience pain, loss and hurt. But when that moment passes, the pain passes with it. After is passes we have a choice to revisit the pain over and over so we can continue to suffer. What's even worse, is choosing to suffer over something that hasn't even happened. We create the pain of the potential future that we do not yet need to experience but choose to experience it now. After the pain passes and even during the pain, we can choose to be happy. But choosing to be happy is not as easy as people say it is. To choose happiness, you need to first learn to be present, and just being here in the now is a challenge that shows itself every moment. Yoga on Glen Street is a free community yoga class held annually on Glen St. to benefit local charities to give back to our community and the people that live here. The proceeds for this year will go to Glens Falls Youth Center. Please bring your own mat to the event.
