Yep, you're reading this correctly! We have programmed in 17.1 for Friday's workout. You won't want to miss this... this is how we will be testing our individual fitness levels, because we'll revisit in a matter of months. Measurable progress, people! Don't be alarmed. We will not "no-rep" you. We have very scaled-down versions, and this is something you can ALL complete. Have faith, and don't miss out on Friday!
Open participants: Please remember to submit your scores before tomorrow (Monday) night! Also, for those wanting to do 17.3 that couldn't make it on Friday, we will be at CFG at 10:30 tomorrow so you can warmup for a few minutes. We need to finish up no later than noon so we have time to prepare for 12:30pm class.

All the diet tricks in the world won't work if you neglect the most basic of needs... NUTRIENTS. If you have a nutrition deficiency, your body won't process and react to food the way it should. Plain and simple. The most common deficiencies include: -iodine -vitamin D -zinc -vitamin E -calcium If your energy levels are low, you're fatigued, or you just don't feel well overall, chances are good that you're lacking. If you don't meet these needs, all the exercise, calorie-counting, intermittent fasting, and other dietary tricks in the world won't get your body's physiology working the way it should. You'll hold on to excess fat, you'll stay tired, and you'll plateau in progress you're seeking (weight loss, strength gains, etc.) Even if you don't change anything else about your diet right now, start being mindful of your nutrients. Eating a variety of fruits and/or vegetables with that slice of pizza is better than just a slice of pizza. Think about it.
Hey guys! If you haven't been able to do 17.3 yet, we are available on Monday from about 10:30-12:00 (there's a little wiggle room here). We need to group people together and stagger it to be as efficient as possible, as we aren't available this weekend (we need the days off, friends). Let us know if you can make it Monday!
