Gardner Edgerton High School, is a public high school in Gardner, Kansas. Gardner Edgerton is a member of the Kansas State High School Activities Association and offers a variety of sports programs. Athletic teams compete in the 6A division and are known as the Trailblazers or Blazers for short. Extracurricular activities are also offered in the form of performing arts, school publications, and clubs. The school colors are blue and white.AdministrationGEHS is currently under the administration of Principal Mark Meyer.HistoryGEHS was built in 2000, where the high school and the District Activity Complex provide educational and athletic facilities for students in grades 9-12. In 2004, a ten-classroom addition expanded the high school's program capacity from 1,200 to 1,600 students.District Activities Complex, which is located adjacent to GEHS, made recent improvements that provided a competition soccer stadium and additional baseball and softball practice fields. A dedicated wrestling facility and an athletic multi-purpose building were added to GEHS in 2006.GEHS is the only high school in Gardner-Edgerton USD 231, which currently includes eleven schools: seven K-4 elementary schools, three grades 5-8 middle schools and the high school.Fight SongFight, fight, fight, we're gonna win tonight.
