Pamper yourself at H&K Watkins with a visit to our tanning salon and bath & body store. We feature soy candles, bath bombs, handmade soaps and much more! Heath and Kelli Watkins established the first H&K Watkins store in the small town of Galion Ohio. The Watkins family has always enjoyed in the indulgence of scented candle products. Heath particularly enjoyed surprising his wife with random gifts of candles, wax melts, reed diffusers and various bath and body products.
Unlike Heath, Kelli understood that all candles are NOT created equal. Kelli had seen first hand what a paraffin candle can do to stain curtains, furnishings, carpet, etc.. with the black soot emitted from its fumes. As an asthmatic patient she was compelled to consider the consequences of breathing the same carcinogens that were responsible for staining the fabric in their home. It became apparent to Kelli that she must tell Heath that his gifts were appreciated, but harmful to their health and home.
Heath Watkins was a man of action! There had to be an alternative to petroleum based candles! After much research the Watkins discovered that a soy wax candle could offer a healthy, environmentally friendly, cost saving, better smelling.. solution. All natural soy candles with cotton wicks burn clean, without the harmful fumes that endanger our health and our environment. Soy candles are made in America by American farmers. Many paraffin candles are made with petroleum from the middle east, then poured in China. H&K Watkins Soy Candles truly are better for our health, better for our planet and better for America!
Just as the revelation that all candles are not equal, Kelli was the brains behind the discovery that all bars of soap are not equal. Most soap will clean, but our soap will exfoliate, moisturize and enrich the skin with scented fragrances that are unique to our brand. At H&K Watkins we carry a full line of hand made designer soap fragrances.
Bath Bombs were the passion of 16 year old Cady Watkins. Cady was determined that H&K Watkins could develope a high quality, yet price friendly bath bomb. Cady's bath bombs brought the fun to bathing and the fun to H&K Watkins! Our bath bombs are an experience that will excite the senses. A shopping cart is not complete without a bath bomb from H&K Watkins!
Our story starts and ends with this labor of love. It took the knowledge of Kelli and the determination of Heath to make these products that we know you will enjoy. So men, don't overthink it! Drop a bath bomb in the tub, light a candle, grab a bar of designer soap, dim the lights and learn from what Kelli has taught Heath! H&K Watkins, its just that simple!

Details below for H&K Watkins customer appreciation FREE Tanning Day! DATE: Sunday, May 7th ONLY (Sorry, we can only pick one day) HOURS: Noon to 3:00 PM WHO CAN TAN: Anybody with an "active" H&K Watkins tanning package. This is an appreciation day for customers that have helped us reach 100! RULES: 1. Beds are first come first serve, no levels. 2. EXPECT lines because it's FREE :) 3. New customers can sign up and tan for free on this day. 4. We will open at noon and close at 4:00 PM. We apologize in advance if we are not able to get everybody through. We will do our best and we want everybody to enjoy a day of FREE TANNING. 5. The store will be open for purchases.
