Sandi Koliadko - Office Manager  At Cobra's Custom our goal is to provide the absolute best service and performance upgrades money can buy, for mainly the Russian Saiga 12 and Vepr 12 shotguns, but we also offer many things for all the Kalashnikov rifle variants.

Additionally we offer cosmetic improvements like metal and wood refinishing and tactical parts upgrades, custom build design and consultation, custom millwork, and performance enhancements like bolt and trigger re-profiling & polishing.

On the military shotguns especially, we can get you the best possible performance out of these weapons, which are well known for having problems with lower powered (low brass) American made ammunition. These are military weapons by design, which have been 'sporterized' for importation in the US. These shotguns were designed to be used with higher powered magnum ammunition. What we do is professionally modify a few key internal parts that are causing too much excess friction and slowing down the action, robbing power from the system. This results in misfeeds and failures to eject, making the weapon useless for anything besides a club.
All modifications are guaranteed completely safe, and guaranteed to make your weapon perform far better than before sending your parts to us for upgrades.

We provide one on one consultation with customers to help them with their custom build projects. We have extensive experience in all areas of custom Saiga, Vepr, and AK modifications. Until we get our Federal Firearms License for MFG (soon...), by law we may not build and sell complete firearms, but we can provide excellent advice to help you decide what you need to get to build your own. We will soon be stocking parts as well.

I have over a decade of hands on experience custom building my own Saigas and AKs as my main hobby, and there are not many people who know more about these specific weapons. My personal Saiga 12 was in fact the very first one in the US to be custom modified from a sporterized import, to an almost exact replica of an AK rifle, using actual wooden AK-74 furniture.

We also have just as much experience with some other military surplus rifles like the SKS, Mosin Nagant, Lee Enfield, and AR-15. We offer cosmetic and performance upgrades to these, and also the latest imported military shotgun, the Turkish Akdal MKA 1919. As our business grows we will be branching out into other rifle platforms, as well as offering services for the Glock, Beretta, and 1911 pistols.

Again our area of expertise is only performance enhancements and cosmetic improvements until we get our license to do manufacturing and gunsmithing work. We will update our page to include that as soon as possible so stay tuned for these and other additions!
