SSG Travis Mills
If you have a Netflix account, then this is a MUST WATCH. "Travis: A Soldier's Story" follows Retired United States Army Staff Sergeant Travis Mills after his life was changed forever on April 10, 2012. Travis set his rucksack on an improvised explosive device and became one of five quadruple amputees from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. His plight has been great, but his fight has been greater. We encourage you to watch this inspirational documentary about an American hero who lives by the words, "Never give up. Never quit."

TroutRelease
Students from our AP Environmental Science class released 57 trout into a tributary of Happy Creek near the 4-H Center in Front Royal last week. First they surveyed the stream for benthic macro-invertebrates and found that there were lots of little critters available for the fish to eat, which is also an indicator of a healthy stream. Our local Trout Unlimited chapter was once again on hand to help us survey the stream and they confirmed that there have been several sightings of the trout that we released last year. Let's hope that this new batch helps this population to continue to grow!
