Description
Compass Classical Academy is a Charter School that is founded on the principles of Classical Education. A Classical Education values knowledge for it's own sake. It develops strong reading skills utilizing exposure to classical literature and languages. A classical education forms solid skills in math, preparing the student for college, trade school, the military and employment.
The development of positive character and citizenship occurs in all areas of a child's education. It is our goal at Compass to insure that each child reaches their highest potential.

Happy Summer Compass Families! It is official! We have coaches for the Robotics Team and the Chess Club. Robotics will be have two groups. One for 4-6th grade and one for 7-9th grade. We still need more people to assist. Please give your time to these students to help make this a success. Chess Club will be meeting one day a aweek after school (tbd) We could use more adults to assist there too. The school wide welcome back picnic is at Riverfront Park in Tilton on August 19th from 5-8. Come welcome the new familes in and the old families back. It is a great opportunity to meet your teachers. September 4th from 5-7pm is Compass's open house. Learn about what is going on in the classrooms as well as see what club opportunities are available for your student. Find out ways you can volunteer and make your school even better. Tilton Celebrates 150

Huge shout out to Shannon Hill and miss Bev. They may and the Compass booth from 6 AM till 10 PM at the Tilton Street fair yesterday. Amazing job ladies
The final totals are in! The class that collected the most was.... First Grade!! Congratulations. The totals were: Kinder $46.09 First $160.94 Second $50.14 Third $36.86 Fourth $93.83 Fifth $69.13 Sixth $16.07 Seventh/Eighth $78.44 So the children do not have to choose which one will be the "pie"rateer, Miss Bev has graciously suggested that each first grade student may have their own small pie. The pie ing will commence at appx. 2:15 for parents that wish to attend! The PTO is going to use this money to purchase new hepa vaccums for the classrooms! Thank you PTO!!
