DeKalb Theatre
306 Gault Ave N
Fort Payne, AL 35967
256-997-0396 The DeKalb Theatre is a multi-purpose civic facility owned and operated by the City of Fort Payne. Hours for viewing are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Rates have been set at reasonable levels to encourage frequent use and yet support the fixed costs of operation. The DeKalb Theatre is a valued asset to the community, and we encourage its use by profit and non-profit groups.

The DeKalb Theatre has moveable seating. Full-featured theatre seating is available for 383 persons; however, the main floor section can be retracted yielding open-floor space for dancing, shows, banquets or diner theatre productions. Banquet tables and chairs are available for approximately 150 persons.

Located adjacent to the DeKalb Theatre is the courtyard and garden area. The theatre courtyard is generally open to the public, however, it may be reserved with the theatre or separately.
