********************************Notice******************************************* The Henry H. Lind NCO Academy will begin BLC class 003-17. The first formation will be Thursday 5 January 2017 at 0550 on the basketball court near the student parking lot. The uniform for that formation is the Full Winter Improved Physical Fitness Uniform (IPFU) or Army Physical Fitness Uniform (APFU) to include the hat, gloves and reflective belt. Students will remain in that uniform until 0900 at which time they will transition into the ACU uniform.

The NCO Academy recently lost an outstanding Senior Small Group Leader. SFC Vargas PCS'd across the installation to a new assignment. Our Commandant CSM Helring was able to recognize her performance by awarding her the Meritorious Service Medal during the Academy Christmas Party.

Last night the NCO Academy celebrated its annual Christmas party. We had an amazing time celebrating with our families and friends. The children had a chance to talk to Santa Claus and received a special gift from him.

The Academy held its first Chili cook off. We had six amazing samples to choose from and "Fire in the Hole" came out the champion. We also had some very happy cadre and staff when it was complete.
