facebook.comJaden, a playful 3yr old kicked through our fence while playing in the early summer and did some extensive damage to his leg. He still can not go out except in short stints, ( if he is calm😬) while we are cleaning and airing out his stall. One of his barn friends lent him a ball, I did not catch a picture of him tossing it around, but it did amuse him.
The animals and humans at Trial Run welcome Killian, a big noble looking gentleman to the farm, and of course his owner Becky.
My friend at work bought 4 quarts, and I brought them to work. She went right home and made 19 beautiful jars of Blackberry freezer jam! So fun to spread the bounty around!
Yikes! Sooo many blackberries! $5 a quart at the store!
Started picking our blackberries! We will put a few pints a day in our fridge in the store! If you want to make sure you get some let us know, we will pick and put your name on them! NOOOO chemicals, so go ahead and throw them on your salad, or a pint makes a cobbler, pie, sorbet, or what we call, " slurry"- Put them in a pot add sugar to taste, a heaping tablespoon of cornstarch, bring to boil. Stirring, then cooling. Add to yogurt, ice cream, cereal, cottage cheese or whatever makes you happy! $ 5.00 a pint
Brian's favorite color scheme: Black on Green During the summer months most weekends Brian lets his herd down to the meadow in front of our cabin. This way we can have libations each evening and comment on how good looking they are...... Not everyone's form of entertainment, but works for us.
The raspberries are beautiful. First jam of the season in the store! Jam $4.00 Jelly $4.50
🇺🇸🇺🇸HAPPY 4TH OF JULY🇺🇸🇺🇸 We have a beautiful variety of steaks to make your cookout Celebration worthy!
We like to say to our guests, please be aware we have a bull. Sometimes they say, " how will we know which one he is?" Ummm, Really....... Whose your Daddy?
Sooo, we have recently sold out of last years honey. The main nectar source and flow is ending around the end of June. The month of July the bees will work hard to cap all the honey they have made. Mid August we will harvest. There is no rushing Mother Nature, all in good time. 💚🐝💚🐝
So proud of these two beauties! Just under 4 months under saddle this girl is a work horse!
So you bought shirt, or the tie, or the book. Now you know what your Dad really wants: to spend some time with you! You could do a great brunch with fresh eggs, jams, and breakfast meats, or pick up a beautiful steak, brisket, pork chops, or make some great burgers, and grill them up and hang out! 🍻💚🍻Make Memories!🍻💚🍻 HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!
