Such a wonderful opening for JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR! The evening seemed electric with an incredible audience response. Get your tickets right away for this exciting production by visiting www.theatreinthegrove.org. One of the main reasons for the wonderful reception from audiences is the powerful performance of Matt Brown as Jesus. Here's a little more about Matt. Matthew Brown (Jesus) This is Matt's second show with Theatre in the Grove, the previous being Urinetown in 2011, and he couldn't be more excited to perform his favorite show of all time. Previous favorite credits include, Marvin in Falsettos, Brad in The Rocky Horror Show (Both with Live on Stage!), Sparky in Plaid Tidings (Broadway Rose), Grasshopper in James and the Giant Peach (Oregon Children's Theatre), Princeton in Avenue Q (Triangle Productions), Gideon in Greenwillow (Lakewood), and Farquaad in Shrek the Musical (Northwest Children's Theatre). You can be able to catch him in The Melody Lingers On at Clackamas Repertory Theatre, running from August 3rd to the 27th. So much love to his wonderful family for all their continuous support. Enjoy the show!

The first performer from JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR we'd like to feature is Ky Fifer. Get your tickets now so as not to miss Ky's incredibly moving performance as the deeply-troubled Judas. Tickets are available by visiting www.theatreinthegrove.org. Here's a bit more about Ky. Micaiah “Ky” Fifer (Judas) has enjoyed performing in musicals on and off since high school. Some of his favorite roles include The Balladeer in Assassins, John in Tick, Tick…Boom!, Sky in Guys and Dolls, Conrad in Bye Bye Birdie, and most recently, Henry in Theatre of the Grove’s production of Next To Normal. Ky also writes and records his own music in his band Wilson Fifer Rose, and he is about to release the 2nd album for his progressive rock band Philhelmon.
