Tips for a successful 6 week challenge (and beyond): 1. BE CONSISTENT!! Extremely important, if not the most important, thing to remember. You have to show up(one day a week isn’t going to cut it), you have to be coachable and you have to put in the work. Half reps, low intensity, less that max effort won’t cut it. 2. CLEAN UP YOUR DIET!! You cannot outwork a bad diet. What you put into your body directly affects your performance. Bad food=bad workouts. This also means learning when to eat. Don’t go into workouts on a empty stomach. You won’t be able to perform at your best and essentially waste a workout. Also, eating better DOES NOT mean necessarily eating less. You have to learn to properly portion your food and know how much to eat of certain things. PLEASE feel free to ask a coach if you need to learn more about this! Also, buying a food scale can be extremely worthwhile! 3. DON’T STOP AFTER 6 WEEKS!! Don’t get in the mindset that you will lose all the weight you want and do a complete 180 in 6 weeks. Yes, you will look better and feel better but use this as a stepping stone into your lifelong fitness journey. Don’t get discouraged if you don’t lose as much weight as someone else or you get less reps in a workout. We’re all different and as long as you follow rule #1, change will come!! Get after it!! Make positive changes all around and you will see results! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
