Origin of Name:

When starting a business you dream of having a really cool name but that is not always as easy as it seems. After racking my brain for months and not coming up with anything that really jumped out at me, I enlisted a team of friends and family members to combine our creative juices and hopefully come up with a unique and creative name that is different that any other. Names started to get thrown around, nothing was really jumping to the front of the line when on a whim, as a joke (and being the huge Lionel Richie fan that I am) I threw out Easy Like Sundae. Immediately the response was overwhelmingly positive.  I kept taking that name off the list and kept saying "no no I meant that as a joke", but every time a new list of names came out someone would say, "this name is ok, that one is decent, but I really liked Easy Like Sundae".  After a while and many hours of sleep lost, the name started to grow some legs. Coupled with a lack of other viable options, when it came to crunch time and we needed to have a name to propose, Easy Like Sundae just seemed like the obvious choice. Now I understand its kinda cheesy, especially if you are not familiar with the song. But since I started to use that name, I have seen smiles come to peoples face just by hearing or reading the name. I of course get a few, "oh, you know there is a song with that in it", and of course we have heard a few rousing renditions of people singing it to me but hey, we don't mind it and welcome it (tone def people please keep it short, we don't want to scare customers away!). We hope the people that "get it" will appreciate the clever, creative wit and originality behind it because we do hope to be different and original as you will see when we you come and "Be Easy!"
