Prime Rib, Parade, Live Music! It's Pelican Time Folks

Good afternoon Pelican fans. We are gearing up for a fun shrimp fest weekend. There’s a parade and sounds on centre downtown tonight so get here early! For lunch today we have a black and blue chicken sandwich. Our craft of the day is Zeta’s ruby beach and southern sweet tea is the drink of the day. It's A Crab Fest At The Salty Pelican Today

Good afternoon Pelican fans. We have a crab fest going on today at the Pelican. All day you can get specials on snow crab legs. We have Funky Buddha’s Pineapple Beach as our craft of the day and our favorite raspberry lemonade is the drink of the day. Sunset is at 8:05 tonight so beat the crowds come on down and get crabby with us. Cheers!!!!!

Tuesday Go Well With $2 Tacos!!!

Good afternoon Pelican fans. We have bison burger sliders for our lunch special today. Tonight is of course our $2 fish or chicken tacos starting at 4 pm. Our draft of the day from Jax Beach is Zeta’s ruby beach and the drink of the day is margaritas. Pete is making his way back in and is working on Tuesdays so come in and see him. Sunset is at 8:04. Good Morning Everyone!! Hope you’re all having a great day so far! We know it’s Monday and that may not be your favorite day of the week, so we’ve put together some awesome food and drink specials to make your Monday a little easier to get through. For starters we have a new beer of the month, Freedive Coppertail IPA from Tampa. We will be featuring a strawberry lemonade cocktail, refreshing now that the Florida summer heat is back. We have some great food to go along with the cold beer and cocktails. For lunch today we are going to have a Cajun ranch fried chicken sandwich, it’s delicious with a little kick to it. Join us for dinner for a surf n’ turf special, a 10oz ribeye with bacon wrapped shrimp skewers top with a touch of sweet Thai chili sauce. Good Morning Everyone!! Hope you’re all having a great day so far! It’s another beautiful day here at The Pelican, the weather is perfect! The perfect day for a bloody mary or a mimosa.. 2 mimosa’s.. ok 3 mimosa’s.. how about just bottomless mimosa’s! Yeah, we do that here! Join us for an amazing brunch this morning, the drinks are great, the food is even better! We have an awesome bloody mary bar so you can make our own with anything you can think of to put in it. We serve brunch until 2pm today so make sure you get here before then! Don’t worry, if you miss brunch you can still get shrimp and grits all day and night. We also have the musical stylings of Dan Voll and Michelle upstairs today from 5-9pm. Definitely don’t let this Sunday slip by without paying us a visit at some point in your day. Saturday @ The Pelican!

Chef Mike has put together a few fantastic specials today. For lunch we are featuring the Bison Burger, 8 oz. bison and angus beef patty topped with Arcadian lettuce, tomato, red onion, American cheese and finished with a black pepper aioli on a salted pretzel bun. Tonight’s dinner special is a 6 oz. Atlantic salmon over wild rice with asparagus and Ruby Red shrimp finished with a blood orange balsamic reduction. Intuition I-10 west coast IPA is on special for two more days until we switch to our new beer of the month, Coppertail Freedive IPA. The Pelican Sunset Punch is only $7 so come get a seat and watch another gorgeous sunset from the Pelican Perch. Cheers!

It's Prime Time At The Salty Pelican

Good morning Pelican fans. It’s Prime time at the Pelican today. Starting at 5:00 we have our 14oz certified angus prime rib with homemade garlic smashed potatoes for $18! Our lunch special is a Mediterranean chicken wrap with all kind of goodies rolled up in there. Cucumber lemonade is the drink of the day and Miami’s MIA mega mix pale ale is the crafted draft of the day. Tonight we have Brian Ernst rocking his unique jams from 7 till 11. NFL draft starts at 8 and sunset is at 8:02. It’s going to be a Prime night at Salty. We hope you can join us.

It's Snowy At The Salty Pelican Today!

Here we go again Fernandina! We have snow at the Pelican today. Snow crab legs that is. Every Wednesday we break out the shell crackers and serve up special deals on Snow Crab legs. We have lunch, dinner and appetizer specials all day long so come and get crabby with us. Duke’s cold nose brown ale is our draft of the day and the Ruby Red Paloma is our drink special. Taco Tuesday @ TSP!

It’s one of our favorite traditions here at The Salty Pelican, Taco Tuesday starting at 4pm. Perfectly cooked chicken or fish with pico de gallo, cabbage and spicy aioli on 4 inch tortillas and as many as you can eat for only $2 each. Obviously we will have our house made margarita’s, perfectly paired with our tacos for $5 each. We got in the taco mood early today and are featuring buffalo fried shrimp tacos for lunch. Our two beer specials are Jacksonville’s own, Duke’s Brown Ale and Intuition’s I-10 IPA are $4 today. Salmon BLT!

Chef Mike has put together one of our favorite specials, the Salmon BLT. Six ounces of blackened Atlantic salmon with Arcadian lettuce, tomato, applewood smoked bacon, tzatziki sauce on a ciabatta bun with choice of side for $13. We’ve got two delicious drink specials, a Watermelon & Cucumber Cooler and the Dogfish Flesh & Blood IPA. Chef and his team are breaking down fresh Corvina and shucking beautiful Cedar Key oysters for today’s seafood specials. If the weather cooperates we could be in for an epic sunset tonight at 7:59, hope to see you then!
