Did you know.... Recycling CFLs and other fluorescent bulbs allows the reuse of the glass, metals and other materials that make up fluorescent lights. Virtually all components of a fluorescent bulb can be recycled. Mark your calendar for the Fluorescent Lamp and Ballast Recycling Day, scheduled for October 5, 2017 from 9 am - 1 pm in the parking lot of 1215 N. State Street, Fairmont (formerly K-Mart). Not only will your disposal allow for the reuse of materials, but also will prevent the release of mercury into the environment. Thank you in advance for your participation in this event.
