Description
The mission of Pierpont Community & Technical College is to provide opportunities for learning, training, and further education that enrich the lives of individuals and promote the economic growth of our service region and state. Pierpont specializes in preparing you in two years or less for the kind of work you really want to do.
We offer training for practical hands-on careers, like culinary arts, physical therapist assistant, power-plant technician, graphic arts, sign language interpreter, or aviation management.
Enrolling in Pierpont is possible regardless of your age or educational background. We'll work with you to lead you each step along the way and prepare you for success.
Pierpont offers affordable tuition and access to financial aid.

If you are competing to get in to a selective Health Careers program OR are in a program that requires a General Science requirement, you can take both Anatomy & Physiology AND the lab this summer at the new Advanced Technology Center, south Fairmont. The course runs for just 5 weeks, 3 days each week. In just 15 days, you can complete this popular Health Careers course that also serves as a general Science requirement for Liberal Studies, Criminal Justice, and Board of Governors majors. Enjoy the more individualized instruction of a smaller class size and give yourself some breathing room in scheduling for a future semester. Financial aid is available for summer term. Just complete a simple summer school financial aid application.
