Boscov's is partnering with Cradles to Crayons to collect backpacks, children's clothing and school supplies for local children in need. The collection begins August 1st and runs through August 27th. The collection box will be located at the Courtesy Desk on the second floor.

Boscov's PR managers Linda and Jessica recently visited The Giving Factory in Conshohocken, where they met with volunteers and Renee Nicolo, Manager of Community Engagement. Jessica says the following about their experience, "Cradles to Crayons is a wonderful organization and it was very interesting to learn what happens to the clothing and supplies we collect after they leave our stores. Renee told us that the Philadelphia region is #1 in the United States in deep poverty, meaning families of four living on less than $12,000/year income. With such a great need for supplies, Cradles to Crayons is extremely appreciative of any and all donations we are able to collect." Boscov's Exton is hosting a Back to School Drive to benefit Cradles to Crayons, August 1 though 27.

On Tuesday, October 18, 2016, Boscov’s will host the 20th Anniversary of our popular Friends Helping Friends, a special day filled with fun and fundraising to benefit area non-profit organizations. Last year, local groups raised more than $600,000 with Boscov’s stores throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, New York, Maryland and Ohio. Do you volunteer at a local charity? Boscov's invites you to join us during the month of July for our Christmas in July Food Drive, benefiting the Chester County Food Bank. Summer is an important time since children are out of school and extra food is needed at home for meal preparation and snacks for these children. Help those in need by dropping off non-perishable canned or boxed goods at Boscov's Exton. During this summer season, NO ONE SHOULD GO HUNGRY!
