Winter Hours: Same as the summer hours 10 AM to 6 PM  Mon - Sat Divers Cove is located in the beautiful town of Essex Connecticut, in Essex Plaza which is across the street from The Essex Steam Train.

Divers Cove has been servicing the scuba, snorkeling, spearfishing, and swimming communities for over 30 years! We carry a full line of equipment for your underwater adventures - from mask, fins, and snorkels to tanks, regulators, and suits. We have swim goggles and fins; spearfishing guns, bands, tips, and accessories; bags to carry your equipment; dive watches and computers; full face masks and books to read; and all types of equipment for the technical and rescue diver!

Divers Cove offers instruction for scuba diving, from entry level up to instructor preparation and for dive rescue teams. We also offer technical diving classes from basic nitrox to advanced decompression classes. Our teaching staff is hand-picked to provide the best instruction to make you a comfortable and safe diver, while having fun doing so!

Divers Cove repairs and services most brands of equipment in-house with prompt, high quality workmanship. Most brands of regulators can be serviced; and hydrostatic testing and inspection of tanks, including paintball, are done in our facility. We have certified technicians to service full face masks and most types of drysuits.

Divers Cove has a carefully maintained air fill station that includes quarterly testing of our air output. We can also fill nitrox, tri-mix, and argon. Our compressor is able to also fill paint ball gun tanks up to 4500 psi.

Rentals are also available from Divers Cove with the proper certification. A full range of scuba equipment and well as some "toys" can be rented by the day or the week.
