If you suspect a child is being abused or neglected, please call the 24/7 Child Abuse Hotline at:1-877-NJ ABUSE or 1-877-652-2873 There are many different types of volunteer opportunities available at CASA:
Special Advocate:
Advocate on behalf of abused and neglected children who are struggling in foster care. Special Advocates receive thirty hours of training and then meet with their children on a regular basis. After conducting a thorough investigation, advocates present recommendations to the children's judge, advocating for their best interest.
Social Advocate:
Spread the work about CASA by liking us on Facebook, joining our Facebook "Street Team" group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/292692207476234/ and following our Twitter feed.
Community Advocate:
Inform the community about CASA and the need for children in foster care to have a voice. Help build CASA's relationship with the community by giving presentations at local events and activities.
Administrative Advocate:
Assist the CASA staff with research, public relations, outreach, and more.
Event Committee Member:
Join our event committee and help CASA plan and organize events.
