Description
Quality Childcare for 3 - 12 year olds. GEARS Kids Center consists of 5 individually licensed centers. There is one Preschool/the KC site and four before and after school sites which combine into one school age summer program when school is not in session. Our main office is at 70 S Poplar St., Elizabethtown, PA.

Week of the Young Child Reminder! Today is Artsy Thursday and we have art kits for you to do with your child on site at each location. We hope you get a chance to come and stay for a little this afternoon. East High families, you will get a chance tomorrow as there is a special art show going on at the school today, and we will not be in our normal location.

It's the Week of the Young Child! Please help us celebrate. Musical Monday: Join your kids for a fun Dance Party at their site. You can choose 7 am and/or 5 pm! Tasty Tuesday: Dinner and Exercise at the Community Center Families can drop in from 5—7:30 pm Each family leaves with recipe card & fun active games to play at home. Work Together Wednesday: Kids will be completing Design Challenges with their peers on site. All Completed projects will be posted on FaceBook! Artsy Thursday: Come in and spend time completing a project or two with your child. Anytime during our on site care Family Friday: Take home an activity to enjoy with your family at night.

Due to the sprinkler problem at Bear Creek, we will be holding care for 1st-6th graders at East High tomorrow. Preschool and Kindergarten will be at the Community Center as scheduled. Please use the front doors and ring the door bell. Thank you!
Due to the sprinkler malfunction at the Bear Creek School the kids center at Bear Creek will be closed today Wednesday April 11th. Sorry for any inconvenience this will cause. All other sites will operate as normal.

Elizabethtown Area School District
All Kids Center Sites are on a 2 hour delay for Thursday, please check back often. If school closes we will be open at the Community Center.
Elizabethtown Area School District is now closed. GEARS Kids Center will open up at 8 am at the Community Center. Please bring a packed lunch for your child and snow clothes ( weather permitting).
