Description
Paint your own, one of a kind pottery piece or create a fused glass masterpiece. No reservations necessary. Great fun for all ages! Take an hour or two creating your own, one of a kind, masterpiece. Artists of all ages and abilities are welcome.
Genres include pottery (ceramic bisque) painting, glass fusing, clay hand-building, and canvas painting.
We also offer birthday parties, kids' night out (or should we call it parents' night out), summer camps, ladies night, and adult workshops. Check out our website for more information. (*website under construction)
I can tell you that it's an absolutely fabulous place to go. You and your kids, hubby, parents, grand-parents, aunts, uncles, first cousins (maybe not the second cousins because we know they're just really weird anyway), your friends' third cousin by marriage, and your dog are all going to love it! Reasonable prices and fun times. Of course there are the employees that need to be put up on a pedestal for how incredible they are. We are a fun-loving, sarcastic group that is looking for "that right person" to fill a void in our studio. Right now the position is for part-time sales help during school breaks. Applicants must be 16 years of age or older. You will most likely be working nights and weekends. "Our person" is someone who has a positive/upbeat attitude, amazing customer service skills, strong work ethic, common sense, and you MUST be able to count and make change. Accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to problem solve is critical. Artistic ability is not required. While you personally won't be creating a lot of art, you will be the person that helps inspire others. Your primary focus will be to help explain how the paint process works, teach basic techniques, record transactions, put out customer orders, and clean (Clean? Did I say clean? You will be doing a lot of cleaning.) The ability to adapt is very important. You must be able to keep busy when it is slow and also be able to multitask when it's swamped. You will have customers that drive you absolutely nuts and others that are the most awesome in the world. The ability to talk smack about football (*cough: go Steelers), brew coffee, be passionate about pizza dipping sauce, and have a love of cats, John Mayer and the Walking Dead/Game of Thrones is a plus. Please COME INTO THE STUDIO and fill out an application. No on-line applications will be accepted unless the candidate informs us that they are away at college.

It's not too late to sign up to paint this adorable Easter platter. The adult workshop is Friday, April 14th from 6-9pm. We will rush the platter through so it will be ready to pick up for your Easter festivities. $52 covers the reservation fee, all materials/supplies for the project, and step by step instructions. We are fortunate to be partners with several fundraising events that will be taking place at our studio soon. Please make sure to contact the number provided for the fundraiser you are interested in attending. Each group is handling their own reservations and collecting their own payments.
