What a great showing for Titanium Force Cheer while competing at The D2 Summit in Orlando, Florida this past weekend. Four of our teams received bids (with two “paid” bids) to this highly competitive year-end national event which is an amazing accomplishment being that this is only the second season of our program! We are so proud of each and every one of our incredibly hard working and talented athletes. They showed confidence, poise, determination, fight, athleticism and pure joy with every routine that they performed. Our Youth 2 team “Starlight” competed in the Wildcard round on Friday against 40 teams and finished 15th. These girls are sassy and full of energy and they put on a performance of a lifetime! We are so proud of their journey this season and never would have imagined at the start that they would get the chance to compete at Summit this year! Can’t wait to see what these girls will be able to do in the future! Our Junior 3 team “Eclipse” competed in Semi-Finals on Saturday with one of their best performances of the season which guaranteed them a spot in Finals. After competing in Finals they finished an impressive 5th place out of a whopping 105 teams with a score of 97.5! They zero deductions on both days! They had many goals this year and they exceeded them tremendously. You can tell the girls really got it and understood what they were meant to do this season. We see the passion and love of the sport that these girls have and it’s very apparent in the way they performed this weekend. Our Senior 4.2 team “Odyssey” competed Saturday in Semi-Finals and it wasn’t quite the performance they hoped for but they showed true determination to finish their routine strong and not give up. The reveal for teams advancing to finals was very nerve-wracking as we just didn’t know what to expect but they pulled it off and advanced! The girls knew they had something to prove in Finals and they were not going to go out without a fight! They came together and nailed a performance of a lifetime giving them their highest score of the season with a zero deduction 96.57 and which earned them 2nd place out of 28 teams! Their performance was truly magical and the girls will share this moment forever! Our Senior 4 team “Impact” competed Saturday in the Semi-Final round against a total of 69 teams and finished 15th. This is a very tough division to compete in but the girls showed up and performed a great routine. Even though they didn’t advance to Finals they can say they performed a zero deduction routine and got to compete at Summit with each other for their final performance of the season. We are so proud of them for coming together in February and making it work despite the late start to the season. That’s incredible for a team to not practice and then have everything thrown at them all at once. Couldn’t be happier with their success and thankful these girls are apart of Titanium!
