Description
Red Stripe is an “American brasserie” which is a modern take on the traditional European-style French café. Red Stripe restaurants, with locations in Providence and East Greenwich, Rhode Island, serve creatively refined comfort food with an upscale French influence.
In November 2014, Red Stripe East Greenwich opened in the charming historic downtown area on Main Street, in the former Caprice Restaurant site. With approximately 5,000 sq. ft., the building is larger than the Wayland location and can accommodate 175 seats including a private dining area. The interior and exterior echoes many of the original Providence details, and the menu offerings remain consistent for both locations.
Whether marking an occasion or simply going out for a bite, Red Stripe is your neighborhood restaurant of choice.
Red Stripe is owned by Encore Hospitality Group (an affiliate of Ocean State Job Lot) which also owns Mill’s Tavern restaurant in Providence.
