COAL PATCHING THE STREETS The following is a summary of areas in East Cleveland where coal patching has been done: HAYDEN, FOREST HILL, EUCLID, ELISNORE, HOLYOKE, MONT, GRAHAM, GARDEN, ALLEGHENY, MANHATTAN, STANWOOD, ELEWOOD. Streets that we will be coal patched next are the following: GRASSMERE, ELEDERWOOD, BREWSTER, GREYTON, EMILY AND WHEELER. Coal patching will only be done on FRIDAY'S until further notice. GRASS CUTTING IN THE CITY OVER HALF OF THE CITY HAS BEEN CUT. Areas that are targeted for the near future are: MANN AND ALL THE STREETS IN THAT NEIGHBORHOOD FROM 137TH TO 133RD. Service will also cut ALL THE STREETS OFF OF WOODWORTH FROM COIT TO HAYDEN. Other areas that will soon be covered are ALL OF THE STREETS OFF SUPERIOR HILL FROM CONVENTRY TO CLEVELAND HTS. BOARDER. Keep in mind that the Service Department if limited in the number of staff and they are doing their best to handle all of the complaints concerning these two items. Thank you.
The voting polls closed yesterday at 7:30 p.m. for the recall election of Council President Thomas J. Wheeler. Unofficial results have been posted on the Board of Elections website and it shows a win! Congratulations.
