Non-profit rescues pit bulls and trains them to be police K-9s

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY!! Top Dog Training and Resort is a growing doggy day school/training/boarding/ and grooming facility. We are in need of hardworking, self-motivated, and dependable part-time kennel technicians/ doggy play supervisors for 2 or 3 shifts a week. The kennel technician position shift is, Saturday from 6am-1pm or the Doggy Play Supervisor position is Saturday and Sunday from 1 pm- 7 pm. Salary is based on experience. Kennel Technicians and Doggy Play Supervisors must be able to actively monitor for all health or behavioral issues and address proactively in a timely and effective manner. This position requires a high level of responsibility as we are caring for the lives of animals and monitoring and maintaining a safe environment. This is a dirty job and HARD work which requires being self sufficient and the ability to multi-task. Typical daily cleaning assignments also include: scooping/disinfecting the yard/kennels, cleaning training equipment, taking out the trash, refilling the water, and replacing water bowls. Job Tasks include: *Effectively managing a large group of varying type and size dogs (5lb-200lb), with calm and assertive energy. If you are afraid of ANY breed, this is not the place for you! *Cleaning up after the dogs *Thoroughly cleaning the yard / equipment/ kennels *Feeding and giving water to the dogs *Talking to clients effectively * Bathing dogs Requirements for the job: *Must be over 18 *Must be able to start immediately *Ability to follow instructions *Patience to deal with stressful situations *Willingness to perform cleaning tasks to company standards *Ability to work as part of a team *Excellent time management skills *Reliable way to be contacted *Reliable transportation *Must be able to work holidays

Through the years we've been impressed by this pet dogs remarkable drive, endurance, and athletic ability. Linus became one of our top performing SAR dogs. With a sad heart, we say goodbye as Linus and his family are moving away. We will continue to tell stories about that crazy pet dog that became an amazing working dog. We wish you much success Linus and you will be missed.
