About Dr. Kimberly Bowers
Since childhood, Dr. Bowers knew that there was one thing that she wanted to do in her life: help animals. In 1996, she made that dream a reality by graduating from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She has a special interest in traditional as well as non-traditional and emergency veterinary medicine, treating cats, dogs, birds, small exotics (guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, etc.), as well as amphibians and reptiles.
Dr. Bowers has practiced in Delaware County for almost 20 years and shares her home with two large dogs (Duncan and Krystal Moo), five cats (Feather, Violet, Tango, Salvador, and Bodhi), a blue front amazon (Maya), two snakes (Limoncello and Sissy), and a box turtle (Cherise). All are very HAPPY!

This is Georgia ❤️ isn't she a peach? She made her way to PA from down south at a high kill shelter and then got adopted by a wonderful family. It's because of the wonderful world of rescue that she, her brother and 3 other puppies all now have new homes. BIG Shout Out to Rock On Rescue - A Paw & A Prayer - JC - the transport team and Phyllis Ruley for getting these puppies to a whole new life 🤗🤣🤗

Ok Folks, Ty's blood work update....IT IS ALL GOOD 😀💙🤗💙🤗💙😀 He is on the surgery schedule to be neutered in 2 weeks. He really has come a long way and that's because of Ty's Angels. So many people really stepped up to help out in whatever way they could and look what we ALL accomplished 😀 A HUGE BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO DID WHATEVER THEY COULD 😀🤣😀🤣😀

Look at Ty NOW 😀🤗😀 He's 23lbs and his wounds are healing GREAT!!! He is full of energy now and even got into the peanut butter jar at home 😳 He licked it as far as his tongue would GO!!! #GOTY💙💙💙
Sorry everyone, I (Michele Rhea-Taylor) have been on vacation. But, I did see a post from Ty's foster mom (Julie Julie A. Murray) and he is having his first bone 💙💙💙 I'll get a complete update tomorrow and post. #lifeisgoodforty
Ty UPDATE: Ty's blood work is showing improvements and his PCV is now 26. He needs to get up to 35 & above to be in a normal range. Dr Bowers is has some concerns about some of his liver numbers, but it going to give it some more time. His diarrhea is getting better. However, last night he had sneezing attacks all night long and kept his foster mom, Julie A. Murray up most of the night. He seems to be doing better today, per Julie. Here he is on his Big barker dog bed relaxing.
We LOVE BIG BARKER BEDS!! We believe the company truly cares about dogs and the quality of their product. The bed is guaranteed for 10 years, who guarantees that? We have tried many beds over the years and they ALL went flat. NOT BIG BARKER!!! We have beds in the office for sale or they can be shipped to your house. GOOD NEWS: BIG BARKER is allowing payment split up into two, 30 days apart 😀👍🏼😀
