www.udpac.org Before there were the many regional summer theater camps, there was Upper Darby Summer Stage!

For over 40 seasons this invaluable program has has become the gold-standard for youth theater programs.

Since 1976 Upper Darby Summer Stage has been empowering young people and entertaining families.

The Mission of Upper Darby Summer Stage is to encourage young people to develop the magic of their talents, personality and energy, and to share that magic with our audiences through outstanding theatrical performances for the entire family.

Each summer, over 750 students from around the Delaware Valley come to Summer Stage and participate in our programs. Over 30,000 ticket-holders walk through our doors to enjoy the performances. Participants range in age from 11 to 28.

"The gift was ours to borrow." - Diana Morales in A Chorus Line We hope you enjoyed each gift we had to share with you this summer. It seems as each year comes and goes, a singular motif comes to light. This summer, the theme was home. But not home in a physical sense, but rather finding home in the people around you. Annie found home in Daddy Warbucks. The animals of Madagascar found home in each other. Shrek found home in Fiona. Jeremy Jacob found home in his own backyard. George found home in his friends The Man in the Yellow Hat and Chef Pisghetti. Belle found her home in the beast. And Quasimodo found his home in Esmeralda. You see, home doesn't have to be a place. And that rings true for Summer Stage. We find home in the people around us, the people who we work together with to share a gift that started with just words on a page and grew into something magical. Summer Stage will always be there to welcome you home. The magic doesn't end when our eight weeks are up. The magic is within you all year long. And next summer, we can't wait to build a brand new home with all of you. Thank you for a magical, breathtaking, and joyous Season 42.
