ND Parks & Recreation held a work shop for Maintenance supervisors at Grahams Island State Park on Thursday March 9th. All the ND Park Supervisors were present, and learned maintenance techniques on maintaining park equipment.

Sun was peeking through the frosty trees this morning. Temperatures fell below zero last night so trees were draped in a layer of frost.

We attended a job fair at NDSCS yesterday and promoted our ND Parks while looking for summer employees. We had the pleasure of visiting with several interested people that stopped by our booth, that were looking for employment for the summer. Jobs that are available are Park Attendants, Park Rangers, Park Interpreters, and Park Maintenance. Apply online at www.parkrec.nd.gov. You can apply for more than one position.

A camera does not do justice! The colors that lite up the morning sky this morning, as the sun was making its appearance for the day, were beautiful. It was a -16 degrees, wind blowing, snow drifting, sun dogs appearing! Just another winter day in ND! Gotta love it!!

Lots of snow in the park this year. Keeps maintenance crew busy. I spotted this picnic table in Howard campground almost covered up. It may be the fourth of July before this all melts:) Cross country ski trails are groomed for the up coming week-end. Enjoy!:)
