Our worship leader Johnny Dupre is calling all youth, who sing, play an instrument, have technical skills, or would like to learn how to do all of the above, to come to a Band Practice Workshop to find out how you could get involved.This workshop will take place tomorrow, July 27th from 7-9 pm in the Casual Worship Center. Attending this workshop does not mean you have to join the band. This is an opportunity to come check out what the band is doing, and see if this sparks your interest!

The public is invited to attend a ceremony Saturday, July 15 at Train Station Park will pay homage to fallen and wounded officers. The 11 a.m. event will include messages and reflection from law enforcement administrators Livingston Parish, as well as clergy from various denominations and area public officials. The event will take place two days before the one-year anniversary of the ambush shooting, but the ceremony will serve as a tribute to fallen and wounded law enforcement personnel locally and elsewhere. In addition, 7-year-old "Rosalyn" will greet the crowd and hug officers. She has made it her mission to visit every state in the country to hug law enforcement officers as a means of appreciation for their service. Rosalyn’s parents set up a website and a GoFundMe page to help their daughter fulfill her mission. You can follow her journey at www.rosalynloves.com. REMINDER: TONIGHT!!! The Cuba Connection Join us Wednesday, July 12th @ 6:00 p.m. for the Cuba Connection in the Casual Worship Center as we welcome Pastor Guillermo Leon Mighthy, his wife Rev. Adria M Nunes Ortiz, and their daughter Jael L Leon Nunies to our church once again. Pastor Guillermo comes to us from Havana, Cuba where he serves as District Superintendent. The church in Cuba is thriving and God is truly at work. This will be a time for Word, Worship, and Reception. Please join us if you are able to hear the message Pastor Guillermo will deliver along with the worship and gathering after.
