facebook.com*****GRAPHIC VIDEO FOR SOME!!****** THE HARDEST THING ABOUT RESCUE, IS LETTING GO!!!! This sweet girl was dumped on us months ago & had an immune issue to begin with which caused her to need a blood transfusion and again after medication and when we saw improvement she started falling again. She stopped eating and although she never stopped drinking the broth and fluids I gave her till her last hour I knew she wanted us to let her go. I rushed her back to the vet to give her peace and comforted her until her last breath. It was such a painful & hard decision at first but gave me such peace when she was finally resting because she was pain free. Her immune system failed her and her body was working against her so that’s where we have to make sure what we do is what’s best for them and she told me she was ready as crazy as that sounds ,it’s true! RIP sweet lily!
Today was also not the easiest day as we had a few pups with issues and difficulties we knew needed checked out, not able to get pictures of them all but had to wait a while so got a few of “Hopie” & I waiting to be seen. She had a fever & bacteria issues so medication should turn her and the others around. Prayers & donations always needed!
“Zoe”, “Scout” & “Roady” all went to get fixed today and everything went great thanks to Leopoldo Chavarria & we dropped them off tonight! 🙂
Last night “Teddy” came to visit so he could FaceTime with his new potential family! We have had so much interest in this sweet boy that it’s been so hard to make a decision but he really needs a special home because he does have some specific needs and it’s not any easy choice. We are just so grateful for all the interest in his forever home!
TEMPORARY FOSTER HOME NEEDED FOR THIS SWEET GUY! We picked him up from the pound after he developed infections and open wounds that needed medical care so we took him to the vet and he’s on medication but we need him to get more TLC than we have time for right now. He needs to be inside while he’s treated.
Say hello again to “beauty”(Black)& “sky”(red/white)do you remember them? They came today for their 2nd set of puppy shots & ready for a wonderful home. They were the small puppies found abandoned in an empty lot and a kind person brought them to us at an adoption event. They have been in a wonderful foster home with other animals, children & were even so smart that they are housebroken but they still could use some training & socialization. “Sky” is most likely getting adopted by her foster but “beauty” could really use a wonderful home of her own for Christmas.
“Little Teegan” & “Archie” we’re also getting neutered today and both were not happy about it! I couldn’t get either one of them to look at me for a picture but I’m sure they will Be Adopted quickly at an event. :)
“Lexi” was all too happy to be at the vet but her attitude changed when she had to get her bloodwork. Heart worm negative & staying the night to get fixed.
