#UCDavisLaw Professor Jack Chin was featured in the Chicago Tribune for his insights on "anti-chop suey hysteria" in his paper, "The War Against Chinese Restaurants." The article examines historical anti-Chinese sentiments, as seen in unconstitutional proposals across the country restricting patronage and employment at Chinese restaurants, additional tax burdens, and discriminatory measures restricting licenses to "only those with American citizenship".
