Parade and Carnival
Parade and Carnival are only a couple weeks away and to that end we have an important update for those marching in the Parade: ***Any parents with children in the parade can pick them up after the parade in the Gold's Gym parking lot, located within the Southgate Shopping Center off Madison Road*** Also, there is still time for those who haven't entered yet. Our deadline is May 19th; after that, no more entries will be accepted. Recruitment 2017: Tread the Flames Campaign
As we mentioned at the beginning of the year, we're looking for a few good men and women to join our ranks. To that end, we've launched our "Tread the Flames" Campaign, an effort to educate and inform about the importance of volunteer first responders in the United States. If we can spark just one person's interest in becoming a firefighter, then it's a good start.
Hey Culpeper! This afternoon the Gnarly Hops Beer Fest will be going on downtown. If you plan on attending, please do so responsibly and have a ride arranged so that everyone gets home safe. On a side note, members of CCVFD will be there selling our raffle tickets and a chance at $2500! Consider purchasing a ticket or 10 and help us help you.
