The Salty Dog is a locally owned restaurant specializing in scratch made comfort food. CharBuff wings are our signature item. Kitchen is open until 2:00 am The Salty Dog Bar & Grill was opened on June 15th, 2009 by current owners Jayme & Brian. Jayme & Brian met in 1999 working together at the Old Chicago in the Old Market of Downtown Omaha. With over 35 years of combined restaurant experience, Jayme and Brian knew exactly what kind of restaurant they wanted to open when the time came. A neighborhood bar that was warm and welcoming with scratch made food and friendly service.

The Salty Dog has become pretty well known for our signature CharBuff Wings. The Salty Dog is the highest rated wing joint in the Omaha/Council Bluffs metro area on Yelp. Brian and Jayme spent years getting off work late and not being able to get a decent meal late night,so, The Salty Dog kitchen serves food until 2:00 am every night of the week and we never close for a holiday.
