Roy's Café -- a Corsicana Tradition for 85+ years...Home-style cooking--Best breakfast and lunch around!!! A SHORT HISTORY: In 1928, Roy's Café, then named "City Café", was 3 doors north of its present location. In 1932, the café moved to its present location, still under the same name. Buck Davis operated café until 1936, when he turned the café over to his daughter Sue. It was then renamed "Sue's Café", which she operated until it was sold in 1941. Roy Justice changed the name to "Roy's Café", as it is still known today. Roy had owned the café for about 3 years when it was sold. At that time, he requested his name be removed, but of course, the new owners never quite got around to it. Although it has been sold several times since, the name has remained the same. in May of 1976, the café was purchased by Vernon McGuyer. Roy's is the oldest and best continuously operated food establishment in Corsicana and Navarro County, a tradition which we are very proud to carry forward into the 21st century. Roy's Café was purchased by the Blackwell's on December 30, 2000. It has a flare of the past and a pinch of the present....the perfect recipe for the future. We are proudly celebrating our 85th anniversary and look forward to many years to come with Don Denbow, Ricky Blackwell and Richelle Blackwell Perry leading the charge.

We would like to ask everyone to be in prayer with us as these 13 unselfish, heroic men travel to Rockport, Tx. to assist in with clean up. They just finished loading up all the donations that we have collected over the last few day. They loaded up as much as they could possibly fit. We still had 2 full truck loads of donations. We got in touch with Aguados, then we took both truck loads over to their Hurricane Harvey, drop off location. I absolutely love, when our community works together. If anyone has any donations that they would like to give for Hurricane Harvey Relief. Please, take them the Aguados.
Hey guy's, We just wanna remind everyone that today is our last day for collecting Hurricane Harvey Donations, here at Roy's Cafe / XtraInnings. We received an updated list from the Rockport Fire Department. This is a list of the most needed items as of now. Any thing you can spare will greatly be appreciated. Please share this post and get the word out. We will be here receiving donations until 11pm tonight.
We would like to let everyone in Corsicana and the surrounding areas know that we are set up as a drop off location and taking donations for Hurricane Harvey Relief. There is a truck heading to Houston this Thursday and He will be picking up all the items/money that we collect. Our hours to drop off are 6am untill 11pm daily. They came into Corsicana about a month ago and tried restaurants . They have picked us to do a piece about Roy's . They only picked two places between Houston and Dallas . This is such an honor for us and Corsicana. More to come ! The Texas Highway Magazine will be at Roy's Cafe, this Wednesday filming a day in our Café, starting around 10-11am. We would love for everyone to come join us and be apart in the filming of our city's history and the story of Roy's Café. Come have a late breakfast, early lunch with us on this Wednesday....
