This past week was full of Junior Chefs for our Summer Cooking Camp, taught by Nutrition Educator, Renata Rivas. The Junior Chefs were educated on knife skills, basic cooking skills, and food nutrition. On the last day of camp the Junior Chefs prepared some scrumptious dishes to be judged and voted on by staff. We tasted some amazing dishes such as creamy chicken alfredo, pico de gallo tuna, spaghetti and meat sauce, and awesome desserts such as fresh berry pie in a cup! Great job to all the Junior Chefs on a job well done!

We would like to CONGRATULATE the daughter of Chris Tanner, Warehouse Driver. Alexis Tanner will be graduating with Honors this evening from Flour Bluff High School and is in the top 20% of her class. She has also been a Feature Twirler all four years of high school. Alexis will be attending UTSA - The University of Texas at San Antonio in the fall and will be a Feature Twirler with the Roadrunners Marching Band.
