At Whimsical Wonders, we strive to make the most beautiful and unique creations using items that might otherwise end up in a land fill! About us:
We are Melissa and Lew, a husband and wife team who reside in Coraopolis, PA and Whimsical Wonders is our brainchild. Prior to meeting in 2003, we had each dabbled in different forms of artistry and crafting. The idea began in December of 2006, when we decided to make our silverware wind chimes as unique Holiday gifts for our friends and family. We received such positive response from the recipients that we decided to take our crafts to the rest of the world. We started with just wind chimes and have evolved into creators of fun and funky jewelry and other unique items.

During this evolution, we also realized that this was the perfect way to subsidize one of our favorite pastimes, which is traveling and enjoying the outdoors at music and craft festivals throughout the year.

About the products:

All items are handcrafted by us and made with love. We use recycled kitchen items, silver plated silverware, natural stone beads and vintage beads for the wind chimes. The jewelry is all made with silver plated silverware and natural stones, dichroic glass or vintage marbles. Each item is very unique and we like it that way!

We scour local flea markets, estate sales, thrift stores, yard sales, auctions and anywhere else we can find the ingredients for our “craft stew.”

We are on a continuous mission to create items that require some serious imagination and require lots of good inspiration, but most importantly, it’s got to be fun!
