We gave away 430 bags of school supplies, Vista College did 86 haircuts, 500 hot dogs were eaten, over 35 backpags were give for door prizes, many children went home with books of their very own, and Lions Club provided 79 vision screenings. This event would not have been possible without the help of each and every one of you! We were able to reach out to our community and share God's love in an amazing way!
Today is the day!!! Back to School Buzz is here! Supplies have been purchased and are being packed in bags, food is being prepared and our stylists are getting ready to cut hair! We hope to see everyone there!! Grace United Methodist Church, 101 West Ave F in Copperas Cove will be hosting the Annual Back to School Buzz on Sunday August 13, 2017 from 3pm-6pm. This event will feature FREE school supplies, basic haircuts for students, food and giveaways. Everyone in the community is welcome. No reservations are required, but quantities are limited and children must be present to receive supplies. For more information you can contact the church office at 254-547-3729.
We are just a couple of days away and SUPER excited!!! FREE school supplies, FREE basic haircuts for students from cosmetology students of Vista College, FREE food and LOTS of door prizes and fun! Grace UMC offers Refit classes at Grace UMC every Tuesday from 6-7pm! It is free and child care is provided for ages 0-6. This is open to everyone, not just church members! Come join us for fun, exercise and uplifting music! Please let us know if you have any questions! Can't wait to see you there!
