Neria Sebastien, assistant professor of education, is leading this movement and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in working with children with special needs. He has taught in New York, Hawaii, and St. Lucia, and has published numerous articles on inclusive teaching and leadership in education.
I Cantori, the WWU select choir, has released a new CD titled, “A Colony of Heaven in the Country of Death.” Inspired by a phrase in Eugene Peterson’s commentary on Ephesians, the album aims to remind listeners of the importance of working toward unity, fellowship, and growth in a world that desperately needs God’s love. This afternoon the Walla Walla University Music Department will present a guest organ recital by Paul Richard Olson. The program features works by Bruhns, Piroye, Bach, Oncley, Bédard, and Praetorius. Paul Olson is organist and choirmaster at Grace Church, Brooklyn Heights, New York. This weekend is OPS Weekend and our men’s residence hall club—Omicron Pi Sigma—will be hosting vespers on Friday and putting on their 75th annual amateur hour on Saturday night.
