AAPM Members - The Work Group on Prevention of Errors (WGPE) would like to invite medical physicists working in radiation oncology to complete a 20-30 minute survey that will cover plan and chart check processes for external beam photons and/or protons. The anonymized aggregated survey results will be used as part of Task Group 275 in developing recommendations. #TG275survey To encourage participation, the WGPE has put together a Self-Directed Educational Project (SDEP) template for use in completing MOC requirements. Survey participants completing the survey by April 1st, 2016 will be eligible for a drawing for an #AAPM2016 registration waiver. (Only one entry per medical physicist.) The survey and all additional information was sent to your email address on file with AAPM headquarters on February 12, 2016.

AAPM HQ has just been notified that Dr. Ann E. Wright, FAAPM, FACMP has passed away. Our condolences go out to the family. Dr. Wright became a member of the AAPM on July 22, 1966.
