Bergen County Seeks Volunteers for a Regional Team to Respond to Domestic Violence at Police Departments The Cliffside Park Police Department and Bergen County Department of Human Services, division of Alternatives to Domestic Violence (BCDHS/ADV) are currently recruiting volunteers for a regional team that will respond to victims of domestic violence at police departments located in Bergen County municipalities. Volunteers from the community are trained to offer necessary information and referrals to victims at a time when they need it most. Applicants will be required to consent to a criminal background check, urine test, be finger printed and attend a 40-hour training. Mayor Thomas Calabrese and the Cliffside Park Council presented a Certificate of Commendation to Chin He Baek, George Vicchio and Julie O'Connor in grateful recognition for their innovative spirit and enthusiasm for teaching children and being named "Teacher of the Year" in the Cliffside Park School District! Congratulations to all three of these outstanding teachers!

Mayor Thomas Calabrese stopped by the Cliffside Park Annual Field Day. The Annual Field Day is sponsored by the Police Athletic League and originally started in 1991. It was a beautiful day and the students had a great day!
