Christiansburg Aquatic Center
Description
The Christiansburg Aquatic Center opened in July 2010. The Christiansburg Aquatic Center is home to a 50 meter, Olympic sized pool accompanied by a 1 and 3 meter springboard, as well as a 5, 7.5 and 10 meter diving platform. The facility also has a leisure pool filled with fun for the kids! This second of three pools comes with dumping buckets, spray features, alligator slide, a two-story triple-loop waterslide and a 20 yard, 4 lane lap pool. Right next to the leisure pool is our relaxing warm-water therapy pool which is great for those arthritic joints or those doing rehabilitation. The therapy pool is also a great place to relax while the kids are playing. Don’t forget to catch some rays on our huge sundeck located right outside of the leisure pool. Bring your lunch and eat on one of our many picnic tables or relax in our lounge chairs.
