All proceeds raised by Independence Park Advisory Council (IPAC) help fund improvements on the property of the park and its buildings. Founded in 1989, the Independence Park Advisory Council (IPAC) is an organization of civic minded neighborhood volunteers that has helped raise over $320,000 in contributions and grants in support of park improvement.

Drop off your kids, ages 4 to 12, while you go shopping! We will have pizza, an art project, inflatable fun, swimming (for ages 6 to 12 -- bring swimsuits and towels) and a Christmas movie! $10 / 1 child $15 / 2 children $20 / 3 children (to receive discount all children must be from the same family)
Are you wondering what the fences are doing in the middle of the field? The park district has recently put down grass seed. Please keep your fingers crossed that it grows. Also thank you for your patience in keeping off both the main field and the south field while mother nature does her work!
🌈 over Independence Park
The Independence Park field house is closed today and tomorrow -- and classes are cancelled -- due to a water main break. The bungalow remains open. If you have questions, please call the park office at (773) 478-3538. The Independence Park Advisory Council meeting tonight will be held at the bungalow at 7 p.m.
