For our final National Dog Day post, we would like to share with you all an update on a very special pup, Nestle! Some of you may remember the party we we had for Nestle a couple years ago to celebrate his one year anniversary at our shelter (in an attempt to get him adopted). That day Nestle, now Brutus, found his perfect family! 🐾 "In November of 2017 my family walked into your shelter just to look and there just happened to be an event to mark Nestle’s 1 year anniversary at your shelter. We changed his name to Brutus and he took right to it. He has made our family complete and it’s like we’ve had him his whole life. He has had his first road trip this past summer when we drove to Ohio for a family reunion. He doesn’t understand that he is not the same size as his 6lb fur-sister and tries to be a lap dog (really! He’s actually laying in my lap as I write this). He loves to go on runs with us at the park and loves to play catch. He was the absolute perfect addition to our family, so thank you for all you do to care for all these animals, we wouldn’t have found him if not for what you do!"
