"On a day when many of the nearly 3,000 people gathered in Charlottesville’s IX Art Park for the sixth annual Virginia Craft Brewers Fest learned that Virginia is now the new capital of craft beer in the Southeast, with 213 registered craft breweries statewide, many more personal discoveries were made. On Saturday, attendees found new beers to savor, new breweries to favor and even new tastes for styles that had not previously been of interest. Live bluegrass music seemed just the right note for the relaxed and ever-roaming crowd that included packs of friends, couples with baby strollers, and even an amiable bachelor party." An excellent #vacraftbeer experience is brewing at IX Art Park. Sunny weather. Great food. Fantastic bands. It's all happening Saturday during #VCBF17. And, oh yeah. Nearly 100 of the Commonwealth's best brewers! Experience beers from Spencer Devon Brewing, Steam Bell Beer Works, The St. George Brewing Company, Young Veterans Brewing Company and, of course, the Fest's host, Three Notch'd Brewing Company.
